Kate Greene is a seasoned strategist, creative director, and founder of Storykind—a communications agency that helps mission-driven brands clarify their message, connect with their audience, and drive action across channels. With more than two decades of experience spanning design, branding, messaging, digital strategy, and PR, Kate brings a rare blend of creative vision and strategic insight to every engagement.

Starting their career in graphic design, Kate quickly built a reputation for turning complexity into clarity through thoughtful, compelling visuals. Just five years out of college, they founded their first design firm, which evolved into Owl’s Head Solutions—a creative and development studio—and ultimately became Storykind: a design-forward communications agency focused on bettering brands that better the world.

Under Kate’s leadership, Storykind has become known for its collaborative approach and seamless integration of brand strategy, content development, creative execution, digital marketing, and PR. They lead with curiosity and conviction, helping clients translate ambitious missions into narratives that resonate and campaigns that deliver.

Their work spans sectors—from public health and climate to biotech and the arts—and they are especially passionate about causes that advance equity, improve wellbeing, and champion sustainability. Whether supporting a nonprofit with a nationwide campaign, helping a climate start-up build credibility, or advising on media strategy for a public-sector client, Kate approaches each project with a clear eye, a steady hand, and a deep commitment to impact.

Kate holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Connecticut and has earned industry recognition for both creative excellence and strategic leadership. they live in Maine and remain deeply involved in their community—both as a volunteer and as a champion for values-driven work.
